In case you didn't know, here's how banner programs work. For every 2 times we display a banner for another web site our banner is displayed 1 time. The banner vendor stays in business by selling the remaining "displays" at market prices.

Industry averages show that web sites get one "click through" approximately every 35 times their banner is displayed. In other words, for every 70 times we display a banner for somebody else, we get 1 new visitor that we wouldn't have had otherwise.

For a couple of weeks we plastered these things all over the place. Some pages had 3 or 4 banners. We later considered that perhaps the visit would be more enjoyable for the existing 69 visitors if the pages loaded faster.

Then we figured, hey! Why not create a special screen just for visitors such as yourself -- that actually want to view these things. So here they are. Bookmark this page. Tell your friends about it. Come here every time you visit us.
