Alice Pineworthy is the Publisher and President. Q: What is Cat Rags? A: Cat Rags is a cat oriented web newsletter published each Tuesday morning, It is both kid and adult friendly. Linking to the home page at http://www.CatRags.Com/ automatically takes you to the latest issue. Q: Where is Cat Rags County? A: Just like Margarataville, it's any place you want it to be. Q: When did Cat Rags start? A: Carnivorous Towny I emigrated on the Mayflower in 1492 and settled here. Initially he provided a prosperous rat clean up service to the local merchants. Shortly thereafter, he started Cat Rags, which the Towny family has maintained ever since. Cat Rags established Internet presence on January 27, 1996. The first issue of the newsletter was introduced to the Internet on July 8, 1997. Q: Why did Cat Rags jump into Cyberspace? A: Because it was there. And who better to jump than a cat? Q: Are you a Liberals, Conservatives, or Independents? A: All cats are independent. But to answer your question, Cat Rags is not a political publication. Q: How do you feel about dogs? A: We think they're kind of smelly, but we sit firmly on the fence on this issue. High on the fence. Q: How come you folks use so much purple on your web pages? A: Purple is the team color for the University of Cat Rags. Q: Which do you like better NetScape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer: A: Cat Rags supports all releases of NetScape and Internet Explorer. In addition we support WebTV and America Online's release 3.0. We feel that all of these companies should hire more cats. But that will come in time. Q: How many relatives do you have? A: At last count Carny Towny has 986 first cousins living in every country of the world. Alice Pineworthy is one of 13 kittens. Thirteens run in her family. She has 156 first cousins. We have implemented the PICS self-rating and believe it's the best alternative to government regulation and censorship. It's backed by RSAC, Microsoft, Disney and others.
