 Cat Rags County. Meows for help from a smoke filled
farm house wailed through the countryside yesterday. A quick thinking cat, Mildred
Nipworthy arrived with a ladder in the nick of time. Within minutes she had rescued a
teenage cat and his pet puppy Oscar. Thoughtful neighborhood cats then rallied together
and rebuilt the devastated home by the week's end. As a final gesture, Mildred donated a
playpen for little Oscar to sleep in while on restriction for his wetting problem. Clumsy Scorekeeper
