Cat Rags County. Health nuts
and vegetarians worldwide are flocking here to stock up on new strain of vegetable.
Developed at the University of Cat Rags, Corno-mondo grows without water on stalks three
stories tall. Cobs are so large that

each is hauled away on it's own logging truck, and they're backed up for miles. These
things are real big. A local farm can produce enough in one season to feed a small country
for a decade. One cob is a virtual farmers market, since each kernel has a different
vegetable flavor. It's low in cholesterol, high in protein, and the husks make soft
absorbent napkins.
